Help your vacation rental guests plan their Sarasota beach trips!
You’ve got to go to the beach when you visit Sarasota, but your guests may not know which beach to choose. There are so many! You can offer a guide of your favorites to share with your guests. Your local knowledge may help make their stay a little more pleasant. And if you don’t want to do the work of putting together a guide, let us help! Here are some of our favorite spots to visit!
Siesta Beach, Lido Key, and Venice Beach are the most family-friendly beaches!
If your guests are looking for an easily accessible beach with free public parking, they can’t go wrong by visiting one of these three beaches. They all have pavilions, public restrooms, outdoor shower stations, on-duty lifeguards, and concession stands. But tell them they’ve got to get there early to snag a good parking spot and a place to put their gear. These beaches fill up fast with families and visitors.
Look for wildlife at Caspersen Beach in Venice or Manasota Key!
If your guests would rather do some exploring for local wildlife or birds, tell them to head out to Caspersen Beach in Venice. It’s one of the longest natural beaches along the shoreline. They are plenty of hiking trails and boardwalks to explore easily. Manasota Key has four amazing beaches with plenty of access to wildlife and different terrain. Manasota, Blind Pass, Englewood, and Stump Pass are all fantastic beaches to explore with sand dunes, mangroves, and more. Pack a picnic lunch or dinner to grill at one of the outdoor grills in Englewood Beach, or try some activities at outdoor sports facilities!
Explore secret beaches like Turtle Beach and Palmer Point Beach!
We’ve found some secret beaches if your guests want a more secluded beach spot without crowds. Turtle Beach is a great start, it’s not as popular with the crowds, and if you’re willing to hike a little, you can make your way south along the shoreline to Palmer Point Beach. There are no parking or restroom facilities, so few people bother to make the journey, but it’s worth it for the seclusion and the views!
